100 Days!

In honor of it being 100 days 'til Halloween, here's my Throwback-Thursday: Seance!

"Like" it here!

"Séance" at the CSU Media Arts Festival!

I'm super proud to announce that "Séance" will be screened in the Cal State University Media Arts Festival tomorrow! The screening will be at Cal State Fullerton in the Mihalyo Hall from 6:00 to 9:30 pm. I'm looking forward to our guest speaker Donald Petrie and can't wait to meet new people during the mixer and view all of the student films in the screening. I'm kind of interested to see how people react to the film; I've never shown it to a large group of people before, so who knows...

Frankenweenie 2012

Tim brings Frankenweenie back, this time in stop-animation... looking forward to it!

The Characters

While designing the characters for Vintage Seance, I collected many photos and images and created collages to fully visualize them. Out of the many photos in my collages, these were the best of each that really said it all.

The Original Storyboard for Vintage Seance

If you think this looks messy, you should see it with all the crazy notes I added to it while filming.

Guillermo Again!

Turns out he will be co-writing and producing instead of directing. I hate being misinformed- it makes me look as foolish as this guy.

... still bound to be better than the 2003 version, though.

Also thought this news was interesting: Del Toro's New Stop-Motion...

Ideas: New Short?

Thinking about doing a small short film and/or stop-animation soon, hopefully during winter break... must brainstorm.

Skeletons Love to Dance

Vincent

One of my all-time favorite short films by the god himself, Tim Burton. When I stumbled upon this amazing short, I fell in love with it. For those who admire Tim Burton, you will fully understand the style completely and say "That is SO Tim Burton" within the first few seconds. Enjoy...
