Bloody Excited!
Just bought Mr. Jones, featuring scarecrows made by none other than the incredibly talented Pumpkin Rot! Can't wait to watch it! Got my copy at Target and it was only around $10, definitely check it out if you can. To find more information on Rot's work on Mr. Jones, check out his blog; Pumpkin Rot: What's Brewing / Mr. Jones
Penny Dreadful
Been really wishing I had Showtime so I could indulge in this series, Penny Dreadful. My aunt sent me a cool and creepy clip from it which made me really want to watch it!

Sit Back, Relax!
Been trying to revamp my apartment, at least a little bit, so I've been trolling Pinterest for inspiration. Found these hilariously awesome pillows! I may need to get a few of them...

The Boss
"The time has come," the Walrus said...
I recently parted with my job as a character host at Disneyland. It was such fun, I'll always cherish the experiences I had there, and Disneyland will forever remain a second home for me. One that has always enticed my creativity. Sometimes I look at the stories/screenplays I've been writing these past few years and I've realized how much of a hand Disneyland has lent into that creative realm. My Westerns remind me of Frontierland, my Southern Gothic stories bring my mind straight into New Orleans square, and my interest in the jungle makes me think of Adventureland. These are pieces of inspiration I'll always take with me, especially when I make them darker in my own tales... Hey, I can't help it, I'm a haunter at heart! This being said, I knew the time had come for me to move forward with what I had gained there. Coming up on my last year of school now, I'd like to focus solely on my creative goals in writing, comedy, and filmmaking. All of which I'd like to intertwine with my haunter tendencies, in other words: merge spookery with storytelling... my ultimate goal! That being said, none of this stopped me from having a little creative fun as I decided to say goodbye...

The Trouble
Finished the first draft of my screenplay, The Trouble. Feeling pretty happy about this accomplishment, but looking forward to editing it and perfecting it. The title is inspired by Alvin Schwartz's short story The Trouble, from his third Scary Stories book, More Tales to Chill Your Bones. His short tale is about a family dealing with a poltergeist. My screenplay also focuses on a family being terrorized by a poltergeist, but it is mostly inspired by paranormal events my mother's family experienced whilst growing up, which I have briefly mentioned before in this post; "You could hear it sit next to you..."
