For some reason I have become more interested in bats, particularly fruit bats and flying foxes (they have much cuter faces than vampire bats). Here is a video of a flying fox bat, apparently the largest one in the world:

What a lot of people don't realise is that for a few weeks after birth, the babies (we call them pups) stay with mum 24x7. Even when she's flying out to feed. You can see a pup hanging of the mothers chest in this photo I took in the same colony. Mum & Pup in flight
